What’s on at Acción del Sol
With Christmas only around the corner, we have organised a photo competition where we would like to invite you to send Christmas themed pictures of your beloved pets.
Please send by December 16th to email@example.com and on the 17th of December at our Christmas event expert judges will choose the best three winning pictures, so please get your pets in their best Christmas poses and send them to us.
The last week has seen as usual some horrendous cruelty cases arrive at our refuge including one poor dog thrown in the barranco and left to die but also we have found lovely homes for three lucky poden-cos, two going to Hamburg and one to Berlin.
We have so many dogs at our refuge, all of which deserve a second chance in life.
They have so much unconditional love to give and will be your friend for life. They all have a story to tell, mainly of cruelty, starvation and neglect but with a little time and lots of love, they make such loyal pets.
You can also be assured that every single dog adopted from our refuge will be fully innoculated, passported, microchipped, heartworm free, and with a clean bill of health. We also castrate / sterilise every dog before their adoption and alls we ask is a donation of your choice towards the costs that we incur.
Maybe with Christmas on the way you can find it in your hearts to help us, perhaps a tin or two of dog food with your local shopping would be very much appreciated by our four legged friends.
Please do contact the refuge on 922778630 if you can help us in any way. We are always in need of tinned dog food for our older dogs, blankets, towels, sheets, dog toys and leads.
We are situated at exit 52 on the TF1 north bound which is after the San Isidro exit. The refuge is directly next to ITER the Eolica Parque where the giant windmills are. We are open from 14.00-17.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Saturday 13.00-16.00 or please contact us on our email address firstname.lastname@example.org
