All Saints Church kicked off the new year with a Jumble Sale a fairly new venture for us great fun well attended and people stayed for refreshments after they had had a browse. Which of course leads us into our much larger Car Boots which take place the first Saturday of the month from February up to and including June and then from October upto and including December. The first Car Boot of the new year is on February 6th in the church grounds, gates open at 11.30. These are a great day out for all the family hopefully in clement weather, stalls to visit, food to eat, friends to pass the time of day with, what more could one ask for so come along and join us on February 6th.
Thursday February 11th sees us once again at All Saints enjoying a Mardi Gras evening. A time to dress up in Carnival Gear and this year is no exception as the theme “Anything Goes ” gives one a lot of scope for imaginative costumes. Come along and enjoy a fun evening with us all. Please phone Caroline on 922381981 for more details.
The Gospel Choir hold their rehearsels in the Parsonage on Thursday evening from 8pm to 10pm. For more information please phone Rayco on 699649454
There are of course many enquiries re the opening of the church itself. We have had to replace as well as the major electrical work the wood block flooring in the church as the majority of the blocks had rotted away with age, the new organ has to be installed with the orginal facade and pipes rebuilt around it. The organ itself has been donated to All Saints by one of our parishioners in memory of her son. Can we see daylight yes things are coming together nicely and I would think shorly we will all have a church that we can be blessed to worship together in once again.
As All Saints is currently in an Interregnum our Locum Priest until February 1st is Reverend Ian Eglin after which we will be joined by the Reverend Robin David Lee and his wife Anita new comers to Tenerife north but he has been a Locum in Tenerife South for many months.. If you wish to contact the Locum Priests please phone the Parsonage on 922384038 or mobile 609559755
