Silken Atlántida reinvents its gastronomy with the new SOOK creation
A new gastronomic star has emerged in Santa Cruz, courtesy of the stunning four-star Silken Atlántida hotel.
Since its inception, the Silken hotel chain has been characterised by its commitment to gastronomy, offering its customers high-quality cuisine in all of its hotels across Spain.
As part of this ongoing quest, the Hotel Silken Atlántida in Tenerife’s capital has opted for the reinvention of its bistro adapted to a new young and fresh approach in the form of SOOK. The name has been chosen through an amalagamation of the words Silken and Cook.
The ambitious project has been created by the Silken School of Food and Beverage (ESAB) and chaired by award-winning Michelin star chef Martín Berasategui. The main objective was to refresh the previous concept, to innovate it and make it much more personal, blending the traditional harmony with the modern in a natural way.
After a long journey, the hotel team has achieved a maturity of its cuisine, managing to adapt the traditional with haute cuisine on its excellently-priced menu, a task that has required experience and great work in the kitchen.
The SOOK works just like a conventional menu but the star is undoubtedly the fresh premium produce and the care and dedication of the team behind this wonderful food.
The home-made dishes are adapted to most pockets and break away from formality, becoming more casual. It is a welcoming proposal designed to enjoy with friends, as a couple or as a family and is definitely destined to become a gastronomic reference point in the city of Santa Cruz.
This culinary offering aims to attract not only foreign visitor who stay at the hotel, but the customer of the city, making a nod to Spanish culture and tradition.
