Animal charity offers tribute pages
An unusual way of remembering someone you loved is being offered by the animal charity, PDSA.
They believe anyone who loved animals during their life would want to help them after their death.
Therefore, the PDSA (the People´s Dispensary for Sick Animals) has set up a scheme where you can remember someone with a fitting gesture.
The charity now has an online Book of Remembrance where a tribute page can be created on the PDSA’s website so that fond memories can be shared with family and friends.
Lucy Mold, project manager for the online Book of Remembrance, says how important memorial donations are to the charity: “PDSA is especially grateful for donations made in memory and as a token of our appreciation; we have created an online Book of Remembrance where a tribute page can be set up for a loved one.
“As well as supporting a cause that meant so much to that person an online tribute page creates an accessible memorial that family, friends and future generations can visit and pay their respects. That is so important to us”.
For those who want to honour the memory of an animal lover with an entry in the Book of Remembrance and a tribute page by making a donation, details can be found at www.pdsa.org.uk/inmemory or by calling freephone 0800 019 9166
Anyone who has previously donated to PDSA and wants to set up a retrospective tribute page is welcome to do so by finding their loved ones name in the Book of Remembrance www.pdsa.org.uk/remember.
