Plaque for life-saving success
Los Realejos is delighted to honour a string of sporting successes and Paula Rodríguez de la Sierra is the latest.
Having started her passion for aquatic sports with the Reales swimming club in the municipality, Paula went on to the Martiá-nez club in Puerto to learn life-saving.
Recently, she achieved the runners-up slot in the Spanish Life-Saving and Lifeguards competition in the rescue category.
This promising young athelete combines her academic studies with classes and is proud to carry the name of Los Realejos where she still lives and studies.
She was received at a reception by the Mayor, Manuel Domínguez and councillor for sports, Benito Dévora who presented a plaque in recognition of her achievement.
