Exchange your vows at Bistro Bolle

paeg 37 Exchange your vows at Bistro Bolle

Who said romance is dead? Not at Bistro Bolle in Costa del Silencio, that’s for sure. Each February for the last four years, this lovely restaurant has hosted a very special ceremony which is a real celebration of love.

People often ask what this “Cupid” event at Bistro Bolle is all about. Owner Patrick invites couples to either “get married” or to “renew their vows” in celebration of Valentine’s Day and this is exactly what will be happening again on Sunday, February 10th.

The ceremony may not be “real” in a law-binding way but for the couples who take part, it is still very special and signifies a lovely commitment to one another. There are no restrictions. You can be married already or not. You may be living together or simply going out. You may be straight or gay. It doesn’t matter. The only thing that does is that you love one another and want to show the world that you do, as well as doing something really really romantic in advance of Valentine’s Day.

Patrick and his staff work very hard to make the whole day one to remember. You just don’t turn up, say your vows and go home. Bistro Bolle is hit by Cupid’s arrow and from start to finish makes this a lovely occasion.

You can enter into the spirit as much as you want, you can dress up, including in a wedding dress and smart suits if you wish and ask your guests to do the same. You can have your own best man or bridesmaids too. Bistro Bolle will be putting on a special Valentine’s menu or you can choose from the a la carte. You can tailor your day to suit your budget.

The ceremonies are available between 1pm and 9pm so please do phone Patrick as soon as possible on 699 351 694 to book your time slot and your table. It is also lovely and touching to see other couples in their ceremonies too.

One thing which should be stressed is that this event is open to all and attracts all nationalities. Patrick, who acts as the “Mayor”, is multi-lingual and can conduct the ceremony in the language of your choice, including English, of course, as well as Spanish, French, Dutch, German and Russian.

To add to the romance, you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage and of course have pictures taken. You will also receive a commemorative certificate from “Mayor Patrick”.

Bistro Bolle is a great location as it has a fantastic huge covered terrace with views of Mount Teide and a beautiful sunset, plus lots of free parking right outside.

All those who have taken part over the last four years say it was a really wonderful day and one they will remember and cherish for ever. Why not add it to your memories?
